Haunting, sorrowful, beautiful. Essential listening for purveyors of doom/dark ambient. I'm not sure if this tops the fantastic Human Antithesis but it's in the realm. Stunning from start to finish. Great release from one of the unheralded giants of the genre. Guitars (particularly the solos) drums, and keyboards are fantastic as expected-and the new comer Luca Soi provides an emotive and powerful vocal performance-complete with appropriate cleans (check out the vocal layering at the end of farthest shores) and the occasional growl. I can't recommend this release highly enough.
