In the late 1970's New York's Riot exploded onto the Hard Rock scene via their debut album "Narita." in the half dozen years following the release of "Narita," Riot would go on to become one of the premier America Hard Rock acts. Theri albums "fire Down Under" and "Restless Breed" are still considered landmark Metal release. As the Heavy Metal scene died down in America in the 80's and early '90's, Riot continued to release albums at a furious pace, but this time focused their attention on Japan, where the band has tour steadily for the last 20 years. With Sons of Society riot sticks to their hard Rock/Metal roots. The album exemplifies Riot's exceptional musicianship and songwriting skills. Any fan of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Deep Purple or Thin Lizzy will definitely dig this album.
