A lawman (Wayne) resigns after thinking he may have caused the death of his friend. He prevents a woman from being robbed on the road to the high country and as a result he becomes the foreman of her ranch. They fall in love, until she is told by the man who killed her father that Wayne was the culprit. This resulted in Wayne getting a band of Indians to help him catch the bad guys and their gang. Lots of action as Wayne rides and fights hard.
