Michael Schenker first came to the eye of guitar fans as the axe man for the Scorpions and then joined forces with Pete Way and Phil Mogg in the legendary hard rock band, UFO, before starting his own group, MSG. Schenker's latest effort Thank You 3 draws upon Schenker's clever layering of different acoustic guitar parts into unique passages that are both thematic and cinematic. Rather than trod into a whole different foray of music, this record stay true to Schenker's roots and should satisfy his most discriminating fan.
