Academy Award-winner Richard Dreyfus stars in The Big Fix, an offbeat, intricate thriller about a group of former Berkeley students who become entangled in a web of post-protest era politics, personal revenge and murder. A former student activist turned private detective, Moses Wine (Dreyfuss) is reminded of his radical college days after his old flame Lila (Susan Anspach) appears at his door. She seeks his help with protecting a gubernatorial candidate from slander caused by mysterious forces intent on getting him to drop out of the election. It is up to Moses to find out who is causing trouble but the deeper he gets into the case, the more dangerous it becomes.
