This is one of Pete Seeger's most beloved records: a Christmas record telling the story of The Nativity rather than warbling nonsense about red nosed reindeer. As always, Seeger sang with heartfelt conviction, and - despite the story he is telling being two millennia old - does so with some of the most touching humility that this extraordinary performer ever showed.
