Downsized and cleaning out their desks, dimwitted small-town sheriff's deputies Thurman (Jake McDorman) and Jim (Martin Starr) think they can salvage their jobs when they're tipped to the backwoods flight of an African-American convict (George Sample III). Having caught their man, the eventful trek home has them questioning his guilt... and running right into the crosshairs of their brutal and corrupt ex-boss (Ron Perlman).
