Crooked mining engineer Bill Regan (Livingston) is doing his best to convince everyone, including silver tycoon Vanderpool (Coleman) and a group of investor ranchers including Roy Rogers, that the Sintown silver mine is worthless. Vanderpool's secretary Carol Martin (Frazee) travels to Sintown to perform her own investigation, while Roy and his fellow ranchers do the same. Only old stage driver Ed Carruthers knows the true location of the silver mine. Lots of fights and action ensue in the battles between Regan's gang and the ranchers; Carol continually mistakes Roy as one of the bad guys.
