The career criminal Vincent Lubeck (Lawrence Tierney) has been recently released from prison thanks in part to the pleas from his elderly mother (Lisa Golm). His brother (Edward Tierney) gives him a job at a gas station. But jealousy of his brother and boredom get the best of him. He embarks on a criminal rampage that leads to a massive manhunt.
