Scream Factory, the horror-thriller offshoot of independent film distributor Shout Factory, has confirmed that it will release a Collector's Edition Blu-ray of Wes Craven's The People Under the Stairs (1991), starring Brandon Quintin Adams, Everett McGill, Wendy Robie, Ving Rhames, and Sean Whalen. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market in August. Special features to be included with this upcoming release are yet to be revealed. Synopsis: Wes Craven, the director of The Serpent and the Rainbow and Shocker, locks you inside the most terrifying house on the street. Trapped inside a fortified home owned by a mysterious couple, a young boy is suddenly thrust into a nightmare. The boy quickly learns the true nature of the house's homicidal inhabitants and the secret creatures hidden deep within the house.
