Four classic dramas adapted from the novels of Charles Dickens. These episodes of Theater Royal were first broadcast in 1952-3. This was the only radio series in which Laurence Olivier took part and these vintage adaptations find new life with each new generation of fans. In this set, Olivier leads in all four episodes, with a top (anonymous) supporting cast selected by the BBC.
