Three Wishes for Cinderella

Reworking the beloved 1973 Czech screen spin on the fairytale classic, this visually striking Norwegian effort casts Astrid Smeplass as the downtrodden heroine who defies her cruel stepmother (Ellen Dorrit Petersen) and attends the ball thrown by the prince (Cengiz Al) with some help from her archery skills and a trio of mystical, wish-granting hazelnuts.
