Product Notes
'Thunder In The East' is the fifth studio album by the Japanese heavy metal band Loudness. Originally released in 1985, it marked the band's first album sung entirely in English, aimed at breaking into the American market. The album is produced by Max Norman, known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, which added a polished, professional sound to the album. The album includes the hit single 'Crazy Nights', which received considerable airplay on MTV and rock radio stations. The album reached #74 on the Billboard 200 chart, a remarkable achievement for a Japanese band at the time. 'Thunder In The East' is characterized by it's high-energy guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and a blend of traditional heavy metal with melodic elements. The album's success paved the way for future Japanese bands in the global metal scene and solidified Loudness's reputation as a leading act in heavy metal.
