Product Notes
Roy Rogers debuts in his starring role as the likable cowboy sent to Congress with a mission: let Washington know about the suffering of farmers in the wake of America's 1930s "Dustbowl." Using his skills as a cowboy and his lovely singing charm, Rogers stands up for the ranchers and townfolk to lead them to victory against the crooked politician who is plaguing their town. Along the way, Rogers finds love with his leading lady, Dale Evans. Enjoy the singing cowboy in his first starring role, rubbing shoulder with politians, going up against greedy executives, and representing a whole people group you'll see why Rogers became a national icon! Plus music and singing from the Maple City Four. (The song "Dust" was nominated for an Academy Award!) Directed by Joseph Kane.
