On the heels of her appearances at 1997's Lilith Fair tour, this long-awaited studio release (following '94s acclaimed Loose) finds one of modern pop's most distinctive singer/songwriters supported by a line-up of musicians that includes husband and former Jayhawks member Mark Olson and Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman (of Prince & the Revolution fame) among others.
