Product Notes
The bloody two-year rule of 1850s Nicaragua by lunatic American man-at-arms William Walker is the basis for Alex Cox's ("Sid & Nancy") deliberately anachronistic and darkly funny parallel of 19th-century history with Reagan-era politics. Ed Harris stars as Walker, who seizes control of the Central American nation after an invasion sponsored by U.S. business interests. The eccentric cast also includes Peter Boyle, Richard Masur, and Marlee Matlin. 94 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Uncompressed PCM mono; Subtitles: English (SDH); audio commentary by Cox; documentary; featurette; photo gallery; bonus shorts "Walker 2008," "On the Origins of 'Walker'" (2016); theatrical trailer; essays.
