Wisecracking Lee Tracy (Bombshell, Blessed Event) and screen beauty Gloria Stuart (The Invisible Man, Titanic) costar in this rollicking RKO comedic mystery about a pair of top-notch U.S. mail postal inspectors hot on the trail of mail thieves. After a daring and deadly mail truck robbery that sees the culprit ghost it past the feds, the Postmaster General assigns the case to tough guy Tom Mallory (Tracy) and savvy sweet sister Doris Martin (Stuart). There's a catch, however: They can't stand each other! So, between bickering banter and cut-to-quick quips, the duo claw out a real clue: A mysterious "General Delivery" letter jam-packed with cash addressed to one "Jane Turner." Trailing the letter from the East Coast to the West, the pair finally land at their final destination - Los Angeles, city of sun and shadow. But things are about get more complicated for Tom and Doris as two different Jane Turners come calling!
