After 20 years of creating music in his signature style of New Age instrumentals, EverSound in collaboration with CMMPmusic is releasing "Where the Heart Belongs - The Very Best of Curtis Macdonald". Many of the tracks are co-produced by award winning producer John Adorney. Adorney's impeccable guitar and cello performances as well as Lucia's vocal arrangements enhance the overall mood and magnify the visual imagery of Macdonald´s compositions. The collection represents many of the genres Curtis admires. From the sentimental new age solo piano work of "Goodnight Moon" and "Coming Home" to the contemporary jazz of "Summerland" and "This Evening Is Ours". His two personnel favorites "Holder of My Heart" and the title track "Where the Heart Belongs" exemplify his fondness for transparent arrangements using creative electronic instrumentation. This retrospect of Curtis´s musical journey up till now is an enjoyable listening experience and is a perfect soundtrack for reflective and inspiring moments.
