Recorded over the last five years in several intimate venues in Holland, the new CD captures this most versatile of artists at the height of his abilities. Olney's stage versions of cocky, snarling rockers like "Deeper Well" and "Bathsheba's Blues" (one of his extremely imaginative re-workings of Biblical themes) make Johnny Rotten sound like Pat Boone, but Olney has far more to offer than an indeed awesome dose of Punk-like venom.
